Use the Pricing and Booking page to send in your date and times. Choose your date for a Weekend or Weekday type reservation. Pick your requested time next. Answer the questions, I.E. Name, Address, E-mail, Parking etc. This will send us a request for a booking. Once we check the parking and schedule, we will confirm or contact you with any questions. A second e-mail will be sent to you after confirmation with an attached invoice to pay the deposit and reserve your date.
Below is a small tutorial on booking using our mobile phone system.
First, select the service. In this case, we’re after the Mobile Game Theatre service:
Next, Select the timeframe for how long you wish to run our service.
NOTE: If you are planning on using our Mobile Game Theatre service and need us to supply a power generator and 5G internet service, please also select “Yes” to the Local Park service addon.
Scroll down to review the “BASE Price” – the reason why we state base price is that we still need to confirm if there are other unexpected requirements for your booking. IE – additional travel costs, changes in location due to parking issues, etc. Once satisfied scroll down more.
From here – we strongly “recommend” using our “Travel Cost Calculator” to determine the Travel Cost of your booking. Once you have worked out the Travel Cost, you have very much worked out the complete cost of your booking. Ghostly Games will still need to confirm all requirements before sending an invoice to your email inbox, but at the very least you should know the closest cost for your booking.
Once you have received your travel cost, keep scrolling down.
The first page you will see on the mobile booking process is the “Best Time To Call you back” page. This page can be “Safely ignored” and click on “Next” to review the Current Available times.
At the Main Calendar Availability view – you should be able to see what days we have available and what times are available. NOTE: The > key will show the “next” lot of available times on mobile view.
Once you have selected a time, the system will then display the Name and Address input page.
You should now see the Name and Address input form – please fill out all necessary fields for this booking to be processed smoothly.
Enter in any Valid COUPON Codes and then select “NEXT”
You should now see a “Booking Now Confirmed” Screen – this means you have “Successfully” added a booking into our system.
Please don’t forget to write down the Discount Coupon Code for our “Shop” if you like to purchase a “Gift” for your guest of honor.
Typically, for children aged 6 years and up it is not an issue. That’s why we bring our Game Coach! The Game Coach helps the kids along, inspires and instructs. We make sure it’s the party of the year!
If you have such concerns, inform the Game Coach upon arrival and he will make sure that the gaming is appropriate. Otherwise, he will follow the lead of the guest(s) of honour and make sure they are having the time of their lives! You can request which game ratings are allowed during the booking process by selecting the type of ratings allowed. Our game inventory and view ratings information for each game are on this page.
We suggest that you tell your guests that the party is at least a half-hour to an hour before our arrival time — that way they eat first and they all see the grand arrival of our mobile video game theatre!
We can raise funds by being part of a “kids zone” at a large event or “primary attraction” at smaller events. Our “Backpack” option for schools, churches or non-profits is to hand out flyers and when a party is booked as a result, the organisation receives $20 cashback, per booking for fundraising. We will print the half-page, full-colour flyers and drop them off; all you have to do is distribute them! No cost, no risk, no selling cookies or magazines! You can even do an e-mail blast! Contact us for more information.
We can’t allow any food from within the gaming theatre, as this will create an unwanted mess and damage the technical equipment within the Gaming Theatre. Therefore, game hosts must enforce the no food policy and have participants clean their hands before entering the gaming theatre.
At each event our designated Ghostly Games Driver will act as a Game Coach and monitor the children inside the game trailer. As we will monitor and manage the children within the game trailer, we do expect the host/parents to manage the children outside the gaming van as we need to ensure all children are safe from inside the Game Trailer.
Some games within the Game Theatre must be online (such as games like Fortnite or Apex Legends). We have two options when enabling the internet within our Game Theatres.
The first (preferred) – is to connect our 50-meter ethernet cable (or LAN cable) to your home NBN Modem (or Wifi/router box as others advise). We require one yellow LAN port on the back of the Modem. Example images of some modems/routers:
The second option is to use our 5G (Mobile Game Theatre) or 4G (Van Game Theatre) service which we can bring to any remote location. There is a “Data Charge” fee to use this service. Please review our Pricing and Booking page for costing details.
Yes, there is. We allow children aged six and above within Ghostly Game Entertainment Services. If they are any younger than six years, they “must” be accompanied by an adult supervising the younger children.
Our drivers are excellent and can go nearly anywhere. However, our truck/trailer package is roughly 15 metres long and needs to be placed on an area of little or no incline or decline preferred but not required. Otherwise, you can divert us to a nearby park, church, pizza restaurant or parking lot! Please call us if you have any questions regarding trailer placement and location or view our parking page here.
We always bring the full game library to every event. Your Game Coach will listen to and make suggestions to make your event successful. You can request which game ratings are allowed during the booking process. See our list of games and rating information on this page.
You most certainly do not get charged more. If we are running late, we will stay longer until the required event timeframes are completed. The Game Coach will contact the host if there is an event of traffic congestion or any incident they may encounter during the day.
Unfortunately, we currently do not have a power generator ready for the Van Game Theatre. We are looking into options for a smaller power generator that can fit within our storage area within the Van Game Theatre. Suppose you are looking to book and will be at a remote location requiring our power generator. In that case, you must book our Mobile Game Theatre service, which can bring in a dedicated power generator.
Yes, we do. We have a dedicated 4G modem that can be used as internet access for the Van Game Theatre. However, the “host” will still need to be able to provide a power source to power up the Van Game Theatre on the day of the event.
