Offical Opening in April 2018 – PLUS SHIRTS!

The Author Space: Mike Mikic

Hello Everyone

Just like to provide a small update that we are now officially opening in early April 2018 this year. There have been some minor setbacks in receiving our new “awesome” game trailer, but from now we have some dates locked in!! The Video Game Party trailer will be officially built and ready to ship over to Australia in mid-February, and once arrived we will be installing all the consoles, TV’s and the promotional wrap around the trailer. Here at Ghostly Games, we’re just super excited to see this beast in action!

Here are some pictures of the Trailer in the USA.

And yes, still empty inside 🙁

Now on the side note, we have some awesome goodies which will be included with every Video Game Party booked with us. When you book a party, everyone within the party will receive one of these pretty nifty looking Ghostly Games wristbands each. Just to remember us by 🙂

But that’s not all. We also give one Ghostly Games shirt to our guest of honour! Cool huh?

Yes, there is our logo and website on the back in case your wondering.

Shirts look great on families too, but you can see it is a tad large for the youngsters.

If your part of a school, please look over at our School Fundraising program or Vacation Care program. The program is designed for your school not to pay a thing for our trailer to come by, we just want the public to enjoy and spread the word! This deal is definitely still open to all schools in Brisbane, so please contact us to ask any questions you might have.

We will keep you posted with any other updates as they arise. For now, time to keep them game installs going :/

Hello Everyone

Just informing that our team will be away on holidays from the 13th of December till the end of 2017. We will be back and ready to organise and make awesome video game events happen in Brisbane at the start of the new year. Feel free to use our contact us page to forward your enquiries across, we will try our best to respond in a timely matter. Otherwise, you can still use the booking application to still reserve your date for your next event.

We wish you all a Very Mery Christmas and the happiest new year for everybody.

Love from the Ghostly Games Team

My name is Mike Mikic and I will be starting a new entertainment business venture called Ghostly Games Entertainment, a Mobile Game Theatre that comes to your care centre and entertains or rewards your children with an amazing video game party! 26 kids at a time can dance, race and game in our Limo-Style Theatre on Wheels. We will be commencing just after February 2018 and absolutely excited to get things moving in your area.

What is so important with this proposal?

As we are the new guys around the block, we just like to get the word out to the community that “Ghostly Games Entertainment” is here. So we are offering 2 hours of our time to any care centre willing to have us on their premises absolutely FREE!! (Yes Free!). This does not include free as in working on the weekend however, or free “fete” business. Must be during the week preferably during school hours.

Why Free?

More direct, we need a way to have our name out to the community and what better way to accomplish this than by entertaining your well-deserved (and well-behaved) kids. All we ask is to have 4 half-hour sets of kids rotate through our trailer to simply “PLAY”. After they finished playing, they leave and we’ll hand out a flyer containing more information about our business.

Fundraising activity – Only IF your vacation care is linked to a School?

Believe it or not, you can make this a fundraising activity other than just stuffing newsletter fliers to promote us. Let me elaborate. Over 99% of kids in the world all have one thing in common, “They all love to have FUN!” But they also love to be “rewarded” for the things they accomplish. Why not promote a fundraising exercise with them and the student with the most funds returned to the school will be rewarded “lets say” one 2 hour video game party at their home!! What a prize to have, they can show off this one prize to 20 other mates around them (20 kids WIN). For this we just ask a school discounted commission for your school to have this promotion running (other words, pay for the one 2 hour party at $380 flat after fundraising is finished, your school gets the rest).

What is a Video Game Theatre anyways?

Funny you asked, Ghostly Games Entertainment Game Party brings the Video Gaming experience right to your front door! Our luxury, Limo-Style Theatre on wheels features 5 Widescreen High-Definition TVs, seriously loud (or quiet) sound bars and multiplayer gaming excitement! 16 can play at the same time with room for 10 more friends on the second row of stadium seating! We have all the latest titles from Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii, Wii U and PlayStation 4. Planning a Summer or Winter Party? We are climate controlled!  Our Game Coach will make sure the kids have a blast and the parents/teachers get a break! This new Gaming Trailer has a indigo blue interior with 4 55″ TVs in front of our cushy stadium seating, a 60″ TV in the Action Station in the V-Nose (for games like Just Dance). We have gaming for 26 at a time!   What’s it like to game with Ghostly Games Entertainment Game Party?   Here’s a video of a birthday party in the Mobile Game Theatre!  Have little gamers of your own? We do Birthday Parties!

Here’s a link to our Facebook photo page. We post updates, specials and pictures of our events there. Please also check out Our Policies page to confirm what is expected of us and the host of the party.

Well, I’m not convinced with the “free” thing, but would you mind doing some fete’s or festivals?

A big definite “yes” from us. That is one of the reasons why we bought into the business in the first place to be able to come to festivals and fetes and provide fun to the community. There are a few services that I have still yet to mention, we also provide back yard Laser tag (brand new laser tag system coming from the US) and we also have DJing Services. (I am actually a very good DJ by the way). If you need more information in regards to these services, please feel free to get in contact with me. So again “yes” we can do fetes and festivals no problem.

Thank you for your consideration

Few notes from Rushnosh:

DJ Rushnosh Genre/s- UK Hardcore/Happy Hardcore/Freeform/RaveBrake/Trance

What made you decide to become a DJ?-

Long story short, I needed a new distraction for my highly addicted obsession with video games. I loved electronic dance music and was really curious about how people mix. So me and a mate took up lessons (back when I was in Canberra) and learnt the basics of mixing from DJ Artimes (Ruth). From then on my DJing career just keeps getting better. However I felt there was something missing with DJing with just standing there mixing, and that’s when I saw Labtek (Eric). Saw and heard how he used to scratch over Trance music, to me was just breathtaking and wanted to learn how he does it. So curious me went over to his place and also learnt the basics of scratching and from there unfolded my unique style of mixing\scratching over UK Hardcore music. Never looked back

Favourite gig to date? –

Personally, my most favourite gig was when MC Harlequin, one of my good mates DJ Madman (at the time) and myself flew down to Hobart to play at Halo night club banging out our UK Hardcore duo (Rushnosh feat. MC Harlequin). Was very nervous when we arrived seeing absolutely no one in near the proximity of the club, then when the party started suddenly a whole cult of ravers just appeared out of nowhere and shook this club all night. I was in awe with these guys seeing how they react to something so upbeat and really appreciate the MC/Scratching talent we provided them. What came close to being the top also was when I supported DJ Gammar at the Arena in Brisbane. It was one set before him as myself and MC Conduct kept the raving hall bouncing till his set. It was an absolute honour to play and represent Brisbane for what our local Hardcore talent had to offer.

Future plans/dreams? –

I still have a driving passion and inspiration to continue scratching (or side scratching) for any production of choice. May it be for genres such as Psy Trance, HardStyle and Hard Trance, to crazy UK Hardcore or FrenchCore. I’m also willing to push myself harder to MC for the masses as well. Hell I’m no MC Storm or MC Harlequin but I can still push through a few bar’s to two. I’m a DJ with a diversity of skills and I wish to continue utilising them to entertain others in the near future.

Please check out my sound cloud page for some of the tracks which I have produced and some mixes I have set up there.
